What an Insane Level of Control

This jaw-dropping footage captures the Red Bull helicopter pulling off aerobatic maneuvers during the Friday airshow at EAA AirVenture 2018 in Oshkosh, WI—and it’s easily one of the most incredible helicopter performances we’ve ever seen.

From 2:40 to 2:55, the level of control on display is just mind-blowing. You’d swear it defies the laws of physics.

What’s even more impressive? The choreography between the helicopter and the airplane. How did they not collide? Precision. Timing. Probably hundreds of practice runs. The helicopter has to stay laser-straight, while the jet pilot maintains a perfect pitch, speed, and bank angle.

The level of trust and skill required is off the charts. These pilots are on another level—absolutely amazing to watch.
