On November 9, 2024, during preparations for the Zhuhai Airshow, an Su-57 took to the skies for a rehearsal flight that caught the attention of onlookers. The advanced fighter jet showcased a range of high-speed maneuvers and aerial agility, demonstrating the capabilities of this fifth-generation aircraft.

The demonstration was piloted by Sergey Bogdan, a 62-year-old veteran test pilot who has played a key role in the development and evaluation of modern Russian aviation systems.

The Su-57’s performance highlighted its maneuverability and stealth features, offering a glimpse into the aircraft’s design focus on speed, agility, and multi-role capabilities. While it remains to be seen how the Su-57 will perform in operational environments compared to other fifth-generation fighters, it was certainly a strong visual showing during the airshow rehearsals.
