Pilot Doug Rozendal goes through his first test training flight in the B-29 Superfortress “FiFi,” which is the most famous flying B-29 in the world. The training is an important step for one to be qualified to fly in one of the most complex warbirds that are still flying today.

Rozendal’s in-cockpit experience gives us a unique, firsthand perspective on what it’s like to fly the iconic Superfortress. We think that the crew really did a good job taking care of this beauty, as it’s one of the rarest samples in existence. It is an amazing feat to keep her flying- what a beautiful aircraft!
