President Donald Trump has announced that Boeing has been awarded a significant contract to develop the U.S. Air Force’s next-generation fighter jet, designated the F-47. This aircraft is part of the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) program, aiming to maintain U.S. air superiority amid evolving global threats. โ€‹

The F-47, a sixth-generation fighter, is set to replace the aging F-22 Raptor fleet.
