These Old Films Give Such a Vibe!
This is a post-war 1945 film made by the USAAF that talks about blind bombing. Here, a B-29 bomber radar operator works with a navigator, pilot, and bombardier in identifying their target. The target is obscured by cloud coverage, and the bombs are then released by the radar of the bomber. The rate technology increased during the war is simply mind-boggling. Overall, what a fascinating film. The equipment was much more advanced and complex than we originally thought.
