A Frontier Airlines flight experienced a “hard landing” at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Saturday, leading to flames and smoke being seen under the aircraft. Flight 1326, arriving from San Diego, declared an emergency after smoke was reported in the cockpit during landing, according to both Frontier and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The plane blew its tires upon landing, causing a trail of smoke and flames, as captured in a video obtained by CNN. The Clark County Fire Department responded quickly, and all 190 passengers and seven crew members were safely escorted to the gate.

The FAA implemented a ground stop at the airport, lasting until 7 p.m. local time. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the incident is currently under investigation by both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
