What a Glorious Machine!
In this video, we get to witness the Mosquito FB.26 perform several low fly-bys.
This plane was restored by AvSpecs in Auckland and several subcontractors around the world. The Mosquito has a wonderful airframe plus a Merlin engine that produces an iconic sound.
It’s quite possibly the most beautifully sounding plane that’s fitted with V1 Rolls Royce Merlin engines. It can’t get any better than that!
Also, the footage is beautifully filmed and the sound quality is simply awesome. No music or chatter that drowns out the engine sound.
