This follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they do perilous bombing raids in Nazi Germany, grappling with dire conditions and portraying the psychological and emotional price these young men have to pay in doing so.

Some of these men were either shot down, wounded, killed, or became POWs. But some were lucky enough to make it home.

I have to say this is one of the best aerial combat scenes in the series! The 4:39 mark is one of the coolest shots from a WWII series. Do you think the Masters of the Air was one of the best World War II series? Let us know your thoughts!
