A jaw-dropping performance by Kurt Tötsch and his massive MIBO A-10 Thunderbolt II left the crowd in awe at the Barone Rosso Airshow 2018.

This remote-controlled replica of the legendary Warthog delivered a spectacular display, showcasing both its impressive engineering and Tötsch’s piloting skill.

Built to a scale of 1:5.8, the MIBO A-10 spans an incredible 3 meters and weighs a hefty 24.9 kilograms. It’s powered by two Frank Turbine FT 180 turbines, which provide the thrust needed for this model to mimic the real aircraft’s powerful presence.

The replica’s craftsmanship is breathtaking, capturing the rugged charm of the original A-10 Thunderbolt II—a jet renowned for its durability and ground-attack capabilities.

During the display, the remote-controlled A-10 performed precision maneuvers and low passes, demonstrating its remarkable “BRRRRRT” gun run and even shooting its set of flares at one point!

Spectators were also captivated by the sound of the twin turbines, which added to the realism of the show.
