Loss of a Rare Bird

In this video, we get to see the final flybys of the MiG-23 ‘Flogger 8107 at the 2023 Thunder Over Michigan airshow. According to AirshowStuffVideos’ Youtube channel, the plane crashed just mere seconds after taking the last flyby clip. The crew managed to eject safely, and as for the plane, it went down on a golf course, damaging a handful of cars from a nearby parking lot.

It was sad to see this beautiful bird go, and the loss of another rare aircraft but we still commend the people who had the money, time, and skills to keep old jets like these flying. Hopefully, more maintenance procedures will be added after this incident though so that we can still see more warbirds like these flying in the future.
