Nellis AFB Combined Arms Demonstration – Nellis AFB Airshow 2022

Impressive Air Show

The US Air Force showcase their air power at the Combined Arms Demo (CAD) Aviation Nation 2022 at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. This airshow featured ten tactical and fighter jets as well as two rescue helicopters for this impressive flight demo.

For us, the highlight would be after the aircraft take off when two F-16s arrive at high-speed attack, and an F-22 intercepts them, launching flares. Then, a mock dogfight happens with the Raptor maneuvering behind the two F-16s.

We also get a glimpse of the F-15E Strike Eagle and two A-10 Warthogs doing simulated bombing runs on enemy troops before two F-35 Lightning IIs and two F-16 Fighting Falcons appear to join the attack. When the aggressors zero an F-16, the F-35s rush to defend it.
