The Iconic ‘Stang
The P-51 Mustang is one of the most iconic warbirds of all time. This single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft was extensively used in World War II and the Korean War. In fact, it was considered the best piston aircraft of World War II and became the highest-scoring US fighter in the European Theater. More than 15,000 Mustangs of all types were built.
The video showcases the P-51D Mustang “Ain’t Misbehavin” in the Tri-Cities Airport at the 2020 Tri-Cities Aviation Celebration last September 13, 2020. Listening to the roar of its Rolls-Royce Merlin engines is definitely a treat. We also love how it gloriously took off in the skies. Absolutely breathtaking!
