The Mustang seen here, Quick Silver, was restored piece by piece by Scooter and his father, Bill, using more than two hundred parts from different Mustangs to rebuild the plane into a form better than new. That restoration took years of careful attention, from shaping metal by hand to arranging every panel. The aircraft’s paint carries deeper meaning—its black cape across the front stands for protection, and the pattern behind the cockpit echoes feathers of an eagle, honoring those who served.
Pilot and Performance
Scooter Yoak, known for both his skill as a performer and his work as a restorer, brought the Mustang into tight, low passes that thrill crowds and preserve the feel of historic flight.
