NZ’s Hercules

The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft built by Lockheed. It has the longest, and most continuous military aircraft production run.

The plane is a proven workhorse- there are more than 2,500 C-130s that have been ordered and delivered to 63 nations worldwide. Seventy countries also operate C-130s and It has over 70 different variants.

The plane in the video is a C-130 H Hercules owned by the New Zealand Airforce. Currently, there are five Lockheed C-130H Hercules aircraft that are in service and are operated by the No. 40 Squadron. Tasks are usually flown in support of combat, as well as peace-keeping and humanitarian relief missions.

Overall, it’s quite an impressive aircraft, not to mention, it has excellent close-up taxi shots.
