What an Unfortunate Crash
In this video, we see a TBM Avenger while on missions near Sakashima Gunto have an unfortunate nose-over crash landing on USS Block Island in May 1945 during WWII.
It looks as if the tail hook missed the wires and then the nose gear got caught up in some of it. The first part was taken at normal speed, and the last part was in slow motion.
What do you think caused the crash? Do you think this accident would have been avoided? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
