The spectacular sound of a Vought F4U Corsair

There’s nothing like the sound of the Vought F4U Corsair’s engine echoing across the field. There is no mistaking the sound of a radial engine.

This famous WWII and Korean War fighter, with its unique bent wings, always grabs attention. At Triple Tree Aerodrome, you can see it come alive, starting up with smoke and rumble, rolling down the runway, and then blasting past in a low fly-by that shakes the ground. Definitely a marvelous piece of history!
