Get ready, Top Gun fans! It looks like Tom Cruise might just be gearing up to fly again for the franchise’s third installment that’s coming in the next couple of years.

According to some individuals working in the project, the third movie’s script is already in the works at Paramount. It’s apparently still in the very early stages of development, but plans have been underway to follow last year’s “Top Gun: Maverick” success.

Ehren Kruger, the writer who co-wrote the last movie, is currently developing the first draft – but no deals are in place yet. Regardless, it seems the film might be reuniting the producers of “Top Gun: Maverick”, with co-stars, Miles Teller and Glen Powell, also looking for a comeback.

Given the huge success of the last movie, which grossed nearly $1.5 billion worldwide and got six Oscar nominations, developing another sequel isn’t that much of a surprise. We can’t wait what this movie has to offer!
