Hick…Grunt…Hick…Grunt.

We’ve written about the Blue Angels for quite some time now and in our opinion, they’re the best of the best. We’ve seen the Thunderbirds, the Red Arrows and know about the Russian Knights, but when it comes to showmanship, we love that routine best.

Having said that, we’ve also researched and shown you folks plenty videos of them. From killer sneak passes to aggressive takeoffs, everything these aviators do is spectacular and noteworthy. Once in a while, however, we find something even better as is the case with this video.

Now, we all know that the Blues pull up to 8Gs during their performances and in this video, we don’t even know how that must feel. Making a hard bank over some lucky boaters, the jet then takes a super steel climb just as it seems to be losing momentum. It isn’t of course, but it looks like it’s almost stalling before the climb.

The transition is incredible in our opinion, so when you’re watching this, just try to put yourself in that cockpit. Can you say, “hick maneuver?”
