F-16 Ditched Into Sea
Only days after an Osprey crashed in Japan, another US military aircraft has crashed into the Yellow Sea just off of South Korea.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the 8th Fighter Wing, was on a routine training flight when it had an in-flight emergency. Fortunately, the fighter pilot was able to safely eject from the aircraft and was rescued right after.
However, the cause of the emergency is still unknown.

This F-16 crash marks the second time the fighter jet was involved in an incident this year in South Korea. Just last May, one of these planes crashed during a routine training exercise just south of Seoul.ย
But much like this incident, the fighter pilot was able to eject safely and caused no other casualties.
