This video features a fleet of US B-29s reaching their target, Kobe, a city on Osaka Bay, central Japan during the last days of the war.

However, just before they could drop their payload, a squadron of Japanese fighters intercepted them, ready to take on a fight.

B-29s are indeed beautiful birds! The sheer size of these warbirds has always been a sight to behold. Watching them from these videos remind us of how important these planes were in winning the war.
