What a Beauty!
In this footage, we witness an original World War II P51D Mustang do a full-power engine runup at the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum.

The aircraft is powered by a V1650-7 Packard Merlin V12 Engine with nearly 1700hp, and to say, the sound of that Packard-Merlin engine is like music to our ears.

Never fails to send chills down my spine, what a beautiful aircraft and that noise! Just imagine what itโs like to be a pilot flying this plane while chasing down enemy aircraft.

Do you think that the Mustang is one of the best combat planes that flew in World War II? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
