B-17 Flying Fortresses are typically the most named planes if anyone asks about a World War II bomber. They, along with their brave crews, served well and brought the fight to the enemy when it was needed.
They’re legendary not only because they dropped over a half a million tons of bombs on enemy territory, but also because they were tough. They managed to bring their crews home even though they took a massive beating.
The question is, how much do you really know about them? To test that, we put together some questions ranging from easy ones to some that only hardcore B-17 fanatics would know.
