First Presidential Plane

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton Ohio is an impressive museum that features hundreds of salvaged aircraft that hold historical value. This video gives us an idea of what’s inside the museum, and even a walk-through of the US presidential aircraft. The planes featured were originally used for the transport of US presidents back in the early days of flight.

Some notable plane features were the one that flew President Eisenhower back in the 50s. It features a galley where the food was prepared, luxurious seats, and even bed bunks.

Another is an aircraft famously known to fly JFK- the iconic 707. It was also the first engine aircraft to be built specifically for the president. Although technically, the plane is officially a Boeing VC-17, it was a heavily modified 707.

You should definitely check out this museum in real life!
