Doomed.
Air Force One is often considered a flying White House, able to complete all of its functions while in flight. Meanwhile the Boeing E-4B “Doomsday Plane” is considered to be a flying Pentagon, able to oversee all of the most intense military operations while airborne. The Doomsday Plane is built like a fortress capable of surviving nuclear explosions, but recently two of them felt the wrath of mother nature.
While stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska two Boeing E-4B Doomsday Planes were damaged as a tornado suddenly appeared and tore through the base. In total eight aircraft were damaged in the storm along with some areas of the base.
“The E-4B serves as the National Airborne Operations Center and is a key component of the National Military Command System for the President, the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

Fortunately, the survivability of the Doomsday Planes were able to withstand extensive damage and are expected to be repaired. The Primary Boeing E-4B used in the event of war was off base and is still fully operational.
“There is no impact to the E-4B’s primary mission, so it remains capable of completing its National Airborne Operations Center.”
– Colonel Patrick Ryder (Air Force Spokesman)
