The late Paul Allen’s esteemed collection proudly houses the world’s only airworthy original Focke-Wulf Fw-190, a German fighter plane renowned for its power and agility during World War II.

This remarkable aircraft is equipped with the sole operational BMW-801 engine, making it a unique treasure in aviation history.

First taking to the skies in 2011, the Fw-190 debuted alongside its hangar-mate, an original Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 powered by a Daimler-Benz DB-601 engine.

Since then, the Fw-190 has spent over a decade thrilling enthusiasts with its impressive flight displays, often joined by other icons of Allen’s collection, such as the P-51D Mustang and P-47D Thunderbolt.
