This gorgeous remote-controlled Catalina can really do it all! It took off pretty easily on land but the main attraction was its takeoff on water.

This flying boat lived up to its classification during that water takeoff. It’s impressive how the two 4-stroke radial engines worked overtime during that takeoff. Of course, you have to expect that kind of performance from an engine that costs more than a thousand dollars apiece.

Amazing performance aside, the almost all-white paint on this model is just pristine. What a spectacularly designed amphibious aircraft this is.
