RC Mustang Sounds Mean and Like a Beast

That great-sounding engine belongs to none other than this awesome remote-controlled P-51 model. It is hard to pay homage to such an iconic warbird but this 1/4 scale model does the job well. It sounds great and it flies as smooth as silk. 

The rumble of the engine as it awaits takeoff should be talked about more. Unfortunately, the engine has now been taken off the market but engines with similar specifications can cost upwards of $3000.

That is a hefty amount of money to spend on an engine but for people like Jens Braun, funding his RC plane hobby is his second hobby.
