Stunning Cold War Era Plane

The Saab 35 Draken is a Swedish fighter interceptor built by Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget. First introduced in March 1960, it features a top speed of 2,124 km/h and a range of 3,250 km.

The video showcases the iconic aircraft in an airshow performance during the Historic Cold War Jet Flying Display at a Danish Airshow last year. You can definitely hear its loud afterburner. The last climb on the afterburner before the plane landed was definitely cool. We definitely love those turbo jets as well.

It’s hard to believe that this futuristic-looking jet’s first fight took way back in 1955! Even in modern times, this plane still looked stunningly sleek, and beautiful. Definitely one of the best Cold War Era designs we’ve ever come across.

What do you think of this incredibly agile plane?
