Surprise B-52 Flypast at Bournemouth Airshow Viewed From Steamship Shieldhall

Spectators aboard the Shieldhall were treated with an amazing surprise during the Bournemouth Airshow. 

The airshow featured a lot of historic and modern aircraft, such as the P-51 Mustang, Spitfire, and Eurofighter Typhoons. As amazing as these planes are, nothing could beat what the organizers had in their minds for the surprise.

Before that, however, the spectators also watched the Red Arrows perform their dazzling routine accompanied by smoke trails. Afterward, the crowd finally saw what they’d been waiting for this whole time – a B-52 Stratofortress. 

Luckily, a B-52 from the US Air Force was deployed at Fairford, UK, so there were no problems with the logistics. The crowd definitely got their money’s worth with that sighting.
