SHOCKING HUD VIDEO of U.S. Navy T-45C Goshawk Bird Strike and Crash

Didn’t See That Coming!

In this short HUD footage, we get to see the cockpit view from a T-45C Goshawk attached to Training Squadron (VT) 22 in Kingsville, Texas. The flight was normal at first, with no signs of any delays or mishaps on the horizon.

However, moments later, the jet ingests a large bird and crashes during its descent toward a runway at Naval Air Station JRB Fort Worth.

Fortunately, both of these pilots managed to eject on time. Still, three homes were damaged that day since they were flying over a residential area. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured from the crash.

Crazy how a bird can take down a jet like that! What do you think of freak accidents like this?
