This Just In.

This footage comes to us straight from the top as some might say. While we were perusing the internet, we stumbled upon some footage from our coalition forces. In this case, the crosshairs from what seems like a gunship are hovering over a gated village. Within seconds, a select few buildings are no longer there.

We then did some digging and found out that the footage comes from a military website called ww.inherentresolve.mil. On it, you can find all the latest coalition air missions and PDFs of the mission briefs. To be honest, we’d never think that such a website would exist since it chronicles what you’d think were secretive activities to some extent.

According to their mission statement, their goal is “with and through regional partners, is to militarily defeat DA’ESH in the Combined Joint Operations Area in order to enable whole-of-coalition governmental actions to increase regional stability.”

That’s a very solid statement. With the added motto of One Mission, Many Nations, it is definitely well thought out.

According to the accompanying PDF file, this particular mission took place on June 21st, 2016. An undisclosed aircraft destroyed a Da’esh stronghold which was near Manbij, Syria. Here’s the footage.
