Corsairs and P-47s: Watch These Giant Rc Warbirds Fly Together!

Corsairs and P-47s: Watch These Giant Rc Warbirds Fly Together! | World War Wings Videos

Five Pilots From Three Different Countries Fly Together!

World War II planes are amazing pieces of design and engineering, which is why some people take on a hobby of building their own giant versions of their favorite planes! Airmeet is an amazing event that allows anyone to enjoy the sport of Rc racing and stunts, whether you’re a spectator or a professional pilot. During this event in France back in 2012, 5 hobbyists from three different countries flew their planes together for the first time and it is awesome!

Here are the planes you’ll see:

  • 2 Corsair FU4s-Moki 205
  • A Corsair FU4-3W 150
  • 2 P-47s-Moki 250

You’ll see all these awesome planes take off in succession, two of which will later fly in formation. The pilots will perform barrel rolls and low pass flybys too! The coolest thing is the Corsair that while in a dive actually creates a mini howl sound! Even as an Rc, the Corsairs are awesome! Watch these babies land flawlessly at the end too. Pretty skillful flying if you ask me 🙂
