This gun is an absolute beast. If anything, it has often been considered as the very first modern day assault rifle. It was a revolutionary weapon and owing mostly to its historical significance, an original version was once sold at $4,995. The StG 44 was the first successful weapon of its class, and the concept had a major impact on modern infantry small arms development. By all accounts, the StG 44 fulfilled its role admirably, particularly on the Eastern Front, offering a greatly increased volume of fire compared to standard infantry rifles and greater range than submachine guns.

It may not be much at first glance but once you try it or even see someone demonstrate it, you’d undoubtedly be impressed. Not sure which part I loved best in this video. But hey, I wouldn’t say NO if somebody asked me to give it a try.
