Too Soon?

The nations of Japan and China aren’t exactly on the friendliest of terms and it all stems back to WWII. The controversies between the two nations didn’t stop two men from dressing up as Japanese soldiers and stirring up trouble a busy transit center in China.

The whole ordeal was done as a publicity stunt so the men could gain the internet fame but the whole thing backfired on them. They learned the hard way cursing at a crowd while brandishing a sword does have a few consequences along the way. These guys soon found themselves swarmed by a mob of 300 angry Chinese people threatening to beat them up and were arrested shortly after.

“It’s their freedom to wear what they want – at least they were not exposing themselves. But did those violent people prove themselves to be patriotic?”

The men dressed as Japanese soldiers were detained for ten days on the charge of disturbing the peace. So what do you think about this situation, is it freedom of expression or just plain stupid? Watch for yourself and see.
