What a Beauty!
We get to witness the Vulcan bomber XH558 upon landing holding up that stunning wide delta wing down the runway.
Love the sound of those engines – that howl sent us chills! It’s also crazy how old this plane is, yet still managed to look futuristic in our opinion.
Sadly, they don’t make planes like these anymore – extremely functional, yet full of character.
We don’t know what gives us more goosebumps, the sight or the sound! This was taken back in July 2014 during the last Waddington airshow.
Unfortunately, there are no flying examples of this plane left – October 2015 was the last flight date.
