Hats Off To That Guy.

We gotta tell ya, when we found this RC SR-71 Blackbird, we got excited. Then, we got even more excited when we found a link in the description of the video outlining the entire build. This guy, Lance Campbell, who built this is probably the most diligent person we’ve ever encountered.

For starters, let this sink in for a bit. It took him 10 years to build this thing from scratch. Ten years. A decade.

From the wooden skeleton to the paint job, this guy blogged about every step of the process. (Well, not every step but all the important parts.) Here’s the link to his blog if you want to take a look at it. He has some pretty awesome pictures in there.

Aside from that, this 12 foot long, 7 foot wide 60 pound bird can travel up to 175 miles per hour. Look it up yourself in that blog we directed you above. We’re not sure if that’s how fast it flies in this video (probably not) but that’s pretty impressive.

Check it out and let us know what you think.
