Return.

The USS Harry S. Truman is one of the most prominent vessels in the fleet of the United States Navy. For almost 20 years this aircraft carrier has conducted missions all over the globe to keep the world safe and provide humanitarian efforts. However, as the threats to the world’s safety escalate then so must the vessels that defend it.

It has taken ten months but the USS Harry S. Truman has been upgraded to compete with modern threats. The carrier completed sea trials after its Planned Incremental Availability (PIA) even reaching the goal one day before the expected deadline.

“You bring a team of hard working dedicated individuals together and actually make them a team, they can accomplish amazing things and that’s what they did.”

– Rear Admiral Dale Horan

The upgrades to the aircraft carrier included operational systems, living spaces, and improvement to the flight deck. All of these changes go towards improving the performance of the ship and providing better living experience to the crew. The United States Navy has released footage of the USS Harry S. Truman’s sea trials and is expected to undergo flight deck operations next.
