A combination of three giant-scale model Corsairs and this gorgeous background makes for a great video. Unfortunately, we can’t always have nice things. Out of the three Corsairs, only one landed in great shape. The other two faced different problems.
An air system failure was the reason for the other one’s demise. Meanwhile, the other had its cowl get loose mid-flight. It was unfortunate because hearing three Moki radial engines close together would have been amazing.
Thankfully, the two “injured” planes can still be repaired and be flyable soon enough, said the owner. The fact that their airframes remained intact is a very good sign.
