The F-16 was General Dynamic’s single-engine, multi-role fighter aircraft designed as an air superiority day fighter for the United States Air Force. However, it later on, evolved into a successful all-weather multi-role plane. What’s so great about it is that even though it has troubled beginnings, the Air Force has made it the backbone of its fighter inventory ever since.
The footage shows the F-16 in an afternoon wave after de-icing the runway at the Volkel Airbase last January 2023. While on the ground, the plane looked so fragile. Up in the air, this plane demonstrates how majestic it is. Plus, you can hear how loud and ferocious it is. Absolutely wonderful- it has to be one of our favorite fighter jets of all time!
