What a Beaut!

In this video, we get to see “FiFi,” a Boeing B-29 Superfortress make a low pass in Valpo Indiana. It’s one of the two B-29s in the world still in flying condition as of 2023.

This American four-engined propeller-driven heavy bomber was designed by Boeing and flown by the United States during World War II and the Korean War. Fun fact- B-29s were the biggest aircraft built during World War II. While it was initially designed to fight in the European theater, the plane found its niche in the Pacific, delivering several aerial weapons- conventional bombs, incendiary bombs, mines, and two nuclear weapons.

So, make sure that you turn up the volume as you enjoy this pretty short but impressive flyby of this iconic warbird!
