It’s Not An Easy Task

Barrel rolls just never go out of style. This B1B showed off during the RAF Cottesmore airshow as it does a barrel roll right after takeoff. The amount of difficulty to pull this off is really impressive.

The “Bone” is one of the three strategic bombers left serving the US Air Force along with the “Stratofortress” and “Stealth Bomber”. The B1B first saw combat in 1998 during Operation Desert Fox in Iraq.

To date, only 45 out of 100 of these planes are in service in 2021. It is set to be replaced by the B-21 Raider in a few years.

Before that happens, we can still enjoy the marvel of the B1B as a strategic bomber as it reaches its twilight.
