So there you have it. The part of war that has a lot of downtime and you’re bored out of your mind. It’s funny how being on deployment can make you feel two completely opposite feelings.

On one hand you have the most intense moments of your life when you’re in a firefight. Your adrenaline is through the roof. Your heart is about to jump out of your chest and you’re praying for it to be over.

On the other hand, you have the most intense feelings of boredom when you’re at a fairly quiet post. Sure, you have to be vigilant and keep an eye out, but standing or sitting there for 12 hours can get boring. Fast.

Thankfully, on this day these fellas got a treat from the guys up above. At the end of the video they were talking about calling in a show of force, and that’s exactly what they got. Not only is it an effective way to avoid a gun fight and see your enemies scurry away, you also get a free airshow. All in all, it’s a win win for everyone.
