Price To Fly.
Politics isn’t really our focus around here, it’s military aviation but every once in a while the two of them have been known to cross over. Lately, a lot of folks have been up in arms about Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price for blowing tons of taxpayer money on private jets. However, it goes a little deeper than that when it was revealed that he blew, even more, money flying on military jets.
The given number of Price’s flights on military jets is estimated to exceed $500,000 in taxpayer money. It was bad enough that he was blowing all that cash on private jets, but let alone the fact that they approved him for travel on military jets on the taxpayer’s dime.Mainly the guy was just going from city to city and if you wanted some extra leg room they could just spring for a first class ticket. The private jet might draw some flak, but a non-military guy on military aircraft is going too far.
Mainly the guy was just going from between and if you wanted some extra leg room they could just spring for a first class ticket, like other politicians. The private jet might draw some flak, but a non-military guy on military aircraft is too much, even the President is mad at him for the excessive spending.
Price has since apologized for the spending and says that he will repay $52,000 of taxpayer money, but that’s only a drop in the hat. This coming from a guy who rallied against excessive taxpayer spending.
