Flight of the Grumman Cats – F4F, F6F, F7F, F8F

What a Beautiful Collection of Cats!

This footage features four Grumman ‘Cats’ – an F4F Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, F7F Tigercat, and F8F Bearcat. These iconic aircraft flew together during the 2022 airshow of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.

We simply love all four of these old war birds, but personally, both the Bearcat and Tigercat are simply breathtaking to look at. The final pass made by the Tigercat gave us absolute goosebumps. We also loved to have seen more of the Hellcat and Wildcat, and the videography is awesome as well.

Perhaps, the only “cat” that was missing in this collection is the F-14 Tomcat, and it would have been perfect.
