Flying In Style

The Bae Hawk has no business looking this good for an advanced trainer aircraft.

As a Folland Gnat replacement, the Hawk quickly gained a lot of admirers thanks to its impeccable design. Hawks are also famous around the world since the Red Arrows, an RAF Aerobatic Team, have used them since 1980.

Much like the actual Bae Hawk, Mario Walters’ Hawk looks absolutely stunning.

The 1/2.5 scale model of the Bae Hawk is plastered with intricate decals and a shiny paint job. We can all thank Daniel Hirscher of DH-Colorworks for that.

Initially, the aircraft was built from a kit by Tomahawk Aviation which sells the kits for almost $15,000. Looking at its condition now, that seems like money well spent. Its performance and design is almost unrivaled!
