“One of our women  is worth a hundred of them.” This Kurdish teen just laid down the law. You don’t wanna mess with them and you don’t want to be on the receiving end of their ire (and guns!). For two years now, they have been fighting the ISIS with little to no help from the West. Taking on the jihadists requires more than just sheer force and firepower, it needs plenty of courage and bravery and I think it’s a forgone conclusion but they all have that and more. Talk about women empowerment in the truest sense of the term.

Some of them may be young, barely even in their 20s, but they sure understand the plight of their country and what they can do to help. I have so much respect for these women. They are heroes and the bravery they displayed is unbeatable. They are indescribably amazing.
