If anything, this is more of a compilation of Zeros getting absolutely wrecked by US Navy warbirds. After all, the Zeros did have a hard time surviving in the later parts of the war.

A6Ms are famously known for their shoddy construction work, low-quality materials, and vulnerable design. These planes didn’t have the same survivability as the P-47 but what they lacked in sturdiness, they made up for in agility. Nevertheless, the Zero was an aircraft designed to do one thing well and that’s about it.

You have to feel for these pilots who were shot down though. Knowing your life might be over in just a few seconds is a feeling we all hope doesn’t happen to any of us.
