A man decided to fix and get his father’s 1946 Cadillac up and running again. His dad, a WWII veteran, and 102 years old, always longed to drive his vintage Cadillac one last time. Thus, Jerry Heasley, a freelance auto journalist for car magazines, wanted to give the ultimate birthday gift his father will never forget.

However, accomplishing this feat is a challenge at first since the car hadn’t moved under its own power for nearly 50 years. Therefore, watching it move and come back to life again was an incredible thing to witness for Heasley.

His dad was thrilled when he saw his old Caddy pull up the driveway, “I’m really surprised. I thought I’d never see it again, much less see it run like that.”

And finally, he got his wish- at 102 years old, he was able to drive again his 1946 Cadillac with his son assisting him.

It was an absolutely priceless father-and-son moment!
