Because America!

One of the neatest “traditions” in the United States is kicking off sports team’s seasons with a flyby. Whenever possible, a nearby Air Force Base will send out their planes to do a flyby over the stadium during or after the National Anthem. It’s a spectacular sight no matter what plane it is. Sometimes it could be a ship of F-18s or even F-22s. In this case, it was a C-130 Hercules.

This video was taken at the beginning of the Bronco’s 2015 season. The organizers were walking out with a massive American flag to unfold later, but out of nowhere, a C-130 buzzed the every living daylights out of the stadium. The people loved it, as you can hear by their reaction.

As an extra treat, we also included another video below that one. It’s a different stadium, but it’s a C-130 flyby captured from the cockpit. As you’ll see, the pilot took a beautiful bank over the crowd before straightening the plane out again.

That was pretty epic in our book. Happy 4th everybody. Be safe.
