“Don’t keep all your eggs in one basket” is good advice especially when it comes to high-powered explosives. Sometimes you are left when no alternatives when it comes storing 200,000 tons of ammunition, you need the best facilities. However, sometimes even the most secure locations can end up in flames like an ammo depot in Ukraine which is suspected to be sabotage.

The residents of Vinnytsya, Ukraine were shaken as their local ammunition depot erupted into a series of major explosions. Up to 30,000 people evacuated as the town became engulfed in flames, trains were shut down and airspace restricted for safety measures.

It would be nice to say that this is a one-of-kind occurrence but it actually has happened before in the region. Just months ago another ammunition depot was blown up the victim of a drone attack suspected to have been launched by Russian-backed separatists. This scene is a little too familiar and officials are not ruling out sabotage as the cause.

Officials are launching an investigation into the source but you can view the view the explosion in this clip.
